So its Saturday, thank goodness this week is over and I have a day off tomorrow ( on which I shall have a plethora of housework do to, but cest la vie). The best news is that Aaron had a wedding to film tonight and that means MONEY, which has been, shall we say, very elusive right now.
Today has been very eye-opening for me, at least where Eden is concerned. This morning her brother pulled her hair and she said "dammit, Liam!" I was beyond shocked, I almost didn't believe she had said it. Now she just lied to me...where has my sweet little angel gone? Apparently she traded placed with a a lying, swearing sailor :/ At least when she was really little and learning to talk, it was amusing to hear her mispronounce words like "faaach" (fork) and "doooche" (juice).
So we just had a looooooong talk about using bad words and lying and how they are bad things to do. She seems sorry, but recently her behavior has come to a head anyway. It seems like every day she is losing privileges and getting time outs for not listening. I think I might adopt a "three strike rule" like my sister did. You basically have to earn a "good behavior sticker" at the end of the day, but if you get in trouble that day three times you loose the sticker. At the end of seven days you get a little prize for getting stickers everyday. So we will see how it goes. We may need to adjust it for age. Well apparently she back to "angel" mode because I just got a big kiss and a, "I love you, mommy."
